The Rotational Technical Excellence Program (RTEP) is a two-year rotational commitment designed to develop and accelerate the next generation of engineers. As you move through the rotation you won’t be alone. A team leader, mentor and ambassador will be by your side to keep you on the road to success. PLUS – you will be building long lasting friendships with other new engineers in the RTEP program. Following the completion of the program you will take the technical and leadership skills gained from the rotation and transition into a non-rotational role.

We attract top engineering talent who are passionate about using deep technical skills to innovate and solve problems. You will be given challenging projects of strategic importance that will help our customers and add to the growth of the business.

Qualifications to Apply:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or computer engineering, mechatronics, material science, computer science, physics, mathematics, ceramics or a related degree
  2. Availability to start in January for fall grads and June for spring grads
  3. Prior internship/co-op experience preferred
  4. Ability to relocate for rotational experience; relocation assistance will be provided

The Operations Leadership Rotational Program (OLRP) is a two-year rotational commitment. Your first rotation will focus on learning continuous improvement (CI) in areas of operations, quality and supply chain at a Watlow manufacturing facility. Building a foundation in continuous improvement will set you up for success as you transition into your second rotation as a production team leader (PTL). As a PTL, you will experience one of the most critical roles to the organization. We will help take your leadership skills to the next level as you lead a production cell to deliver and meet production goals.

We attract developing and sustaining top STEM talent who are passionate about solving business problems and leading others. You will be given challenging roles in multiple functional areas within manufacturing that are of strategic importance to our customers and the growth to the business.

Qualifications to Apply:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering management, industrial engineering or a related engineering degree
  2. Availability to start in January for fall grads and June for spring grads
  3. A strong interest in operations and management
  4. Ability to relocate for second rotational experience
  5. Able work in the U.S. legally without employment sponsorship

Watlow's internships and co-ops provide students the opportunity to work with mentors, team leaders, project leaders and other engineers on a range of projects. Along the journey, you will realize Watlow's culture of self-actualization, development and growth is on a level you have never imagined.

We attract top engineering talent who are eager to apply classroom theory at a Watlow manufacturing site. You will be given challenging and engaging projects that will help our customers and add to the growth of the business.

Qualifications to Apply:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or computer engineering, operations management, engineering management, industrial engineering, electronics, computer engineering, computer science or related engineering degree
  2. Must be at a minimum sophomore second semester status, junior status preferred, by start of co-op or internship
  3. Available to start in either January 2023 or June 2023
  4. For co-op: Ability to relocate to a Watlow location for the duration of your co-op; housing stipend will be provided
  5. Able to work in the U.S. legally without employment sponsorship
