Silicone Rubber Heater For Fast-Food Warming Tables
Problem:
Fast Food chains have exacting specifications of sanitation, operational efficiency and uniformity of appearance for food warming tables.
Solution:
Watlow silicone rubber heaters meet or exceed these criteria when installed on stainless steel food warming tables and heating a few inches of water to 140°F (60°C). Hamburgers are kept warm and moist until the time an order is filled, French fries are kept warm and crisp at higher temperatures using heaters with 0.8 to 2 W/in2 (0.1 to 0.3 W/in2). The UL® recognized Watlow silicone rubber heater, with proper insulation, provides even heat transfer to the stainless steel by virtue of its low mass, low losses, and large heat transfer area. Fast food restaurants use Watlow heaters to solve equipment problems before they arise.
