FIREBAR® Heaters - Where There Is Smoke There Is Flavor
A customer required a single, 3-phase heater to smoke hickory wood in a commercial smoker to process turkey. Process temperature of 700°F (370°C) burns the hickory and flavors the turkey.
The unique three-coil design of the FIREBAR® provided the required 3-phase wiring configuration. The heater specified for this application was rated at a 240 volt, 1.5 kilowatt and 30 W/in2 (4.6 W/cm2) watt density. It was bent into a major axis hairpin formation and supplied with a steel mounting bracket.
