On March 6, 2025, team members from our Columbia and Hannibal locations participated in STEM Day at the Capital Exhibition in Jefferson City, Missouri. This annual event brings together students, educators, and industry professionals to celebrate and promote careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Watlow’s booth featured engaging, hands-on experiences like the Watlow Operation activity, a controls demo box, and the crowd favorite—Lenz’s Law magnet demonstration. To make the experience even more memorable, the team handed out fun, science-themed giveaways including stickers, notebooks, pencils, keychain airplanes, and of course, plenty of candy.
We’re proud of our team’s energy and creativity in making this outreach a success. Special thanks to Tim Alten, Gavin Underhill, Sabrina Catalano, and Steven Burns for helping bring our passion for STEM to life!
