EZ-ZONE Configurator is the software used to configure Watlow's EZ-ZONE products in one simple process.

Easy-to-use features provide simple yet flexible methods for setting up EZ-ZONE products:

On-Line Configuration

EZ-ZONE Configurator detects any EZ-ZONE devices that are connected to your computer. You choose one and EZ-ZONE Configurator reads up and displays the entire configuration allowing you to access any setting. Parameters are found in the same page and menu arrangement on screen as they are on the controller’s display, on the RUI and in the manuals, so it's easy to find what you are looking for whether you are an occasional user or a seasoned pro.

The wizard-style editor allows the user to thoroughly examine each menu while the powerful menu explorer allows you to skip right to the parameter you want.

Once the controller is configured, save the settings in a file for archiving, recovery or to simplify setting up another EZ-ZONE device. The configuration files can also be e-mailed or made available to users on a network or via the internet. A configuration file contains all the information required to set up a controller.

Off-Line Configuration

If you want to get a jump on setting up your EZ-ZONE device, or you need to support a remote user and you don’t have the hardware handy for on-line configuration, use EZ-ZONE Configurator’s off-line configuration feature. This feature allows you to edit configuration files that you’ve saved during on-line editing sessions or just enter the model number and create a new setup starting with the standard default settings for any EZ-ZONE device.

Configuration Download

After you have an EZ-ZONE configuration file, download it to an EZ-ZONE device connected to your computer. Flexible and smart compatibility checking ensures the file is only loaded into a device that is similar enough to the original that the settings make sense. There is a notification of any settings not accepted by the device.

• Memory: 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended)
• Disk Space: 140 MB (100 MB if Microsoft .NET Framework is already installed.)
• Video: 800 x 600 (1024 x 768 or higher recommended)

• Windows^® XP Professional with Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2
