Infrared Sensors

Watlow offers a selection of Raytek® infrared temperature sensors. These sensors have the ability to measure the temperature in fast-moving processes quickly and efficiently in various manufacturing applications. These sensors measure the temperature of a product directly, instead of the oven or the dryer. This allows you to quickly adjust to process parameters to ensure top quality.

Small Size, Big Features These products may be compact, but do not compromise on features. Using advanced micro-fabrication techniques, the cost and size of these sensors remain small while retaining sophisticated features such as emissivity, signal conditioning and t-ambient processing. The wide temperature range in each model allows you to detect process variations and monitor start-up performance.

Hand Held Products: MiniTemp™ - is pocket-sized and easy to use. When you need a fast, easy and safe way to measure surface temperature, you need a MiniTemp™ non-contact thermometer. You will not find other non-contact thermometers with the temperature range, ability to measure so small an area and comparable laser sighting at this price. Fixed Mount Products: Raytek® GP™- is a versatile, two-piece temperature monitoring system, which combines a compact, value-priced monitor with an infrared sensing head. Raytek® MI™ Temperature Measurement System- is a two-piece infrared temperature measurement system with miniature sensing head and separate electronics. The link to the specification sheet is located below. Raytek® CI™ Sensor- provides the advantages of infrared temperature measurement in a compact, low cost integrated sensor. It is designed for easy integration into a standard four-wire system. The CI™ sensor can easily replace traditional compact probes with a Type J or Type K thermocouple output.
