CAST-X Circulation Heaters

CAST-X Circulation Heaters

Watlow's CAST-X 500, 1000, 2000 and 3000 circulation heaters are ideal heating solutions for demanding applications. CAST-X heaters consist of a helically coiled tube cast into an aluminum body with tubular elements. The aluminum body blankets the tubular elements and acts as the heat transfer media between the elements and the coiled tube through which the fluid being heated passes. Plus, some of Watlow's CAST-X products have a replacement cartridge heater.

This innovative and cost-effective cast construction provides multiple advantages compared to traditional circulation heaters. The unique construction of the CAST-X heaters allows the heater to be used where thermally sensitive materials are being heated, including paints, resins and flammable materials such as fuels and solvents. The CAST-X circulation heater's aluminum mass maintains heat accurately and consistently, resulting in an optimum level of temperature control. The aluminum body also efficiently conducts heat away from the tubular elements, prolonging heater life.
