Putney's background includes extensive international and domestic experience in organizational and leadership development, executive-level staffing and succession planning, as well as change management and communication. He has served in a number of executive positions at several major American corporations including Invensys plc (vice president, human resources); Tokheim Corporation (vice president, human resources); Honeywell International (director, human resources, airframe systems); and Frito-Lay, Inc. (director, human resource, information systems).
Putney holds a B.B.A. in industrial relations and administrative management and an M.A. in industrial relations, both from the University of Iowa. He is certified as a Senior Professional in human resources and as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
